Are you a Legend of Zelda fan (and if you love Nintendo, how can you not be!)? Ever been stuck on a level in a Zelda game and wish you had a video that showed you how to get through it? Ever wanted to see lesser known and streamed Legend of Zelda games such as "Link: The Faces of Evil", "Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon" and "Zelda's Adventure" on the Philips CD-i played in their full glory? Enter the Zelda Dungeon marathon!
The Zelda Dungeon marathon is a five day Legend of Zelda video gameplay fest that was created by Zelda Dungeon site owner Mases Hagopian, and features him and his crew playing every single Legend of Zelda game that has ever existed in their entirety. If you're not familiar with the
Zelda Dungeon website, you should really have a look -- it is probably the most comprehensive and helpful Legend of Zelda site on the internet.
The marathon is held annually to benefit the
Child's Play charity, which helps provide toys and games for sick children in hospitals around the country. During the marathon, each donation enters you into a drawing for one of many prizes given away during the marathon. Every little bit helps, so if you can spare some cash, this would be a good time to donate to a wonderful cause.
This year's Zelda Dungeon Marathon is being held beginning on Wednesday, August 7, 2013. You can watch the marathon on
Zelda Dungeon's Twitch TV page. They have even come up with a neat YouTube promo trailer promoting this year's marathon -- you can view the trailer below.
Happy Viewing!
