It was announced today by Nintendo that President Satoru Iwata passed away yesterday, July 11, 2015, at the age of 55 due to a bile duct growth. Words cannot express the grief I feel. I couldn't stop crying for a long time after I heard the news, and still tear up when I think about it. I did not know Iwata personally, but I feel like I lost a member of my own family. He will forever be missed.
I offer condolences to Mr. Iwata's family and friends, and I hope that they find comfort at this difficult time. May Mr. Iwata rest in peace, and God bless his soul.
