The Legend of Zelda is known for having some of the most moving and epic music you will ever find in a video game series. When the Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary soundtrack came out bundled with the Skyward Sword release, we were ecstatic, and with news of a
Legend of Zelda Symphony concert touring the country, we jumped on buying tickets months in advance of the event so we could be sure experience the music that we loved so much up close and live.
Well, there's another Zelda fan out there just as hyped as we are about this excellent music, and so much so, that he created his own Zelda-inspired rock music album.
The artist's name is Cory Johnson, and he described the tribute album, titled simply "The Legend of Zelda", as "a post-rock inspired rearrangement of Koji Kondo's music from the Legend of Zelda series". You can listen to all 23 tracks of the album below, and if you decide you want to download the album, visit the the
Cory Johnson Legend of Zelda BandCamp page.
There is no set purchase price for the album, so you can download it for free if you want, however for all of the work that was put into this album, see if you can drop him a few bucks. Enjoy! :)
